Concert Engagements

Nikolina Pinko very much enjoys interacting with the audience during concerts, therefore, she approaches the preparation of countless and musically diverse recitals, which always have an intimate, personal character, with special attention. Among her favorites are the recitals in the Rectors Palace in Dubrovnik, in Wagner's palace (Venice) and in the concert hall of the La Fenice opera house in Venice, where she gave an all-night solo concert of Strauss's lied (songs) for more than three hundred experts from the world of music and sponsors of that great opera house.

It is a special honor for her to perform at large spectacles with works such as Beethoven's "Ode to Joy" as part of 9th Symphony, Mendelssohn's oratorio "Elias", Bruckner's "Te Deum", Mozart's "Coronation Mass" and "Requiem", "Stabat Mater" from Szymanowski, Britten's "Les illuminationes", Vivaldi's "Gloria", etc.

She is successful in performing modern and experimental music and records premiere performances of many composers. Among others, she participated in the "Zagreb Biennale", the "Kelemen Festival" for contemporary artists, and is currently preparing even two premiere performances of the cycle of songs by the American composer Geoffrey Gordon.

She is the winner of the Croatian Theater Award as the best young singer, the "Belcanto" award, the "Vatroslav Lisinski Zagreb" concert hall award and is a scholarship holder of the "Associazione Richard Wagner di Venezia" in Bayreuth.

She is a finalist in the prestigious "Wagner Voices" competition and winner of the "Gabriela Benackova" and "Bruno Spiler" international singing competitions.

She sails in pop waters at spectacles in front of more than five thousand people to the music of Freddie Mercury and Queen, and in October she will sing a solo soprano at the premiere of the experimental Requiem with a rock band, symphony orchestra and choir. End of the year and in January 2024 has several concerts with the Friborg film orchestra and choir under title "Hollywood in concert".
